Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)
Established on 7 October 2023
In alignment with the National Assessment and Accreditation Council’s (NAAC) Action Plan for performance evaluation, assessment, accreditation, and quality enhancement of higher education institutions, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) was established as a quality sustenance measure on 7 October 2023.
The IQAC functions with clearly defined objectives and strategies, undertaking initiatives to meet the quality standards and expectations laid out by NAAC.
Vision
To ensure that quality culture becomes the core concern of Higher Education Institutions by institutionalizing and internalizing all quality initiatives undertaken with both internal and external support.
Objectives
The primary aim of the IQAC is:
• To develop a system for conscious, consistent, and catalytic improvement in the academic and administrative performance of the institution.
• To promote measures that enhance institutional functioning by internalizing a quality-centric culture and institutionalizing best practices.
Composition
The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) serves as the central quality monitoring framework of the institution. Its primary objective is to establish, nurture, and sustain a robust system aimed at promoting academic and administrative excellence across all levels.
The IQAC convenes regularly to:
• Introduce innovative programmes and practices,
• Upgrade and modernize institutional infrastructure, and
• Enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of institutional operations.
The IQAC has been constituted in accordance with the guidelines laid down by regulatory bodies, and comprises the following members:
